Home > Request for proposals: Venue provider for startup ecosystem meetings
18 April 2025
By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility, hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”, is seeking professional support to identify a venue provider for startup ecosystem meetings. The selected provider will be appointed as the official venue provider (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”). This document, along with its annexes, constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by EIT Urban Mobility for the potential procurement of services in the field of event management and venue coordination.
In 2025, three distinct gatherings are planned, for which the selected provider will be required to offer a venue along with all necessary on-site services. The most prominent of these will be the second edition of the Mobility Startup Nexus, a side event of the Tomorrow Mobility World Congress, which is scheduled to take place in Barcelona from 4 to 6 November 2025.
In addition, two smaller meetings with stakeholders from EIT Urban Mobility will be organised on separate dates, each hosting up to 23 participants. One of these meetings is scheduled for the 3 of November 2025, coinciding with the Mobility Startup Nexus, while the other is expected to take place in the second half of the year, with the exact date to be confirmed.
The objective of the Mobility Startup Nexus is to serve as a networking event focused on impact-driven mobility startups, bringing together 120 professionals, including founders, investors, corporates, and partners from across Europe.
EIT UM aims to achieve the following objectives with these events:
While this type of event is intended to be organised on an annual basis, the continuation of such events and the selection of providers for future editions will be subject to separate procurement procedures and are not guaranteed.
